A Royal Invitation

This morning I finally received my royal invitation to collect my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award in Buckingham Palace Gardens.

This was the first opportunity I’ve had to find out which Royals will be at attendance of the presentation.

I was diagnosed with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) in early 2008, age 12.

Then had posterior spinal fusion surgery back in December 2009, age 14.
